Who We Are:

C.R. Mittal Netradaan Kendra functions under the Maharaja Agrasen Global Charitable Trust, a registered non-profit organization in Uttarakhand.

We are authorized to retrieve corneas from deceased donors and coordinate with recognized eye banks for transplantation.

Our trained team visits hospitals and homes after a person’s death (upon family consent) to collect the cornea within 4–6 hours — safely, respectfully, and with dignity.

Eye Donation

Eye donation is the act of donating one’s eyes after death to help someone regain their vision. Only the cornea — the transparent, dome-shaped front part of the eye — is used for transplantation.

The process is completely safe, painless, and performed by medical professionals within a few hours after death.

At C.R. Mittal Netradaan Kendra, our team ensures the process is handled smoothly and respectfully, bringing light to another life.

What is Eye Donation?
Why Eye Donation is Important

Over 12 million people in India suffer from visual impairment; around 2 million are blind due to corneal diseases.

Eye donation helps restore sight and gives another person a second chance to experience life.

One pair of eyes can help two blind people see again.

It’s a simple act that costs nothing but means everything.
